This is a commission that started as a regular Line job, which turned into a Lettering job, which then became the linework of the image you see, then turned into linework against white, and finally the image you see above.
In addition to my deep rooted love of hot rodding, In the winter, I'm also an avid backcountry and competetive Snowboarder.
I ride for a team called "Rou-Zu" This is the team logo painted on a good friend and teammates Bike.
The project ended up taking three days because of Idea changes and drying times; And as a result, the whole thing came out less crisp than it could've, had this been the plan all along.
Normally I would've told a client that wanted all those changes to take a hike, but since we worked together to lock in just what he wanted done with the artwork, and it was for my oldest friend, It was actually a pretty boss and enjoyable experience.
